2025 Bossy Weekend

August 16 & 17

Join in on the fun while supporting our community!

Organized by the Millersville Recreation Association, a dedicated volunteer group, Bossy Weekend is a celebration with a purpose. Every dollar raised goes directly back into our community, helping to provide better resources, support, and experiences for our youth. The Millersville Rec has a strong track record of giving back. Through tireless volunteer work, they maintain and support youth activities at Riverside Park.

Here are just a few examples of how the Millersville Rec funds have been used:

• $4,000 in annual youth scholarships
• Raffle baskets for PTO Carnival
• New sound system for high school athletic fields
• Pitching machine for girls high school softball
• Batting cage for boys high school baseball
• High school trap team platinum sponsor
• Girls youth softball leagues at Riverside Park

Saturday, August 16

• Noon: Food & Beverage Stands Open
• 1:00pm: Mini-Bowling Tournament
  • Entry Fee: $40 per team of 4 players (must be 18 years old)
  • Deadline for Entry: Saturday, August 9

Sunday, August 17

• 11:00am: Parade
  • Parade Line-up: 10:00am on Deerfield Lane
  • Route: Millersville Ave. to Hwy 32, to Riverside Park

• Noon: Food & Beverage Stands Open
• 2:00-6:00pm: Glam Band
• 4:00pm: Big Money Raffle Drawing
  • Tickets: $100 per ticket – 500 tickets sold
  • Payout: 1^st – $12,000 | 2^nd – $5,000 | 3^rd-4^th – $1,000 | 5^th-21^st – $500
